Jessie was drowning in the Royal Canal in
Dublin. Her rescuer managed to pull her out of the water and
the Blue Cross animal care service took her in and paid her medical
bills.
Most positively for Jessie, Bernie Wright
of Dog Rescue heard about her and since Bernie was sending some
Greyhounds and lurchers to
the U.S., Jessie came along. On her medical papers it said 'found
in canal' and 'depressed'.
Jessie likes the U.S. She enjoys sleeping
on soft beds and eating well. Jessie isn't fat now but she does
have a corpulent sort of look that brings
to mind a cuddly bear. She is a happy, contented dog. |
