The
Scooby
Refuge in Medina, Spain takes in unwanted dogs of all kinds, but
mostly Galgos and Greyhounds. The pictures below were taken as the dogs
were received at the end of hunting season in January and February of
2003. Many of the photos are quite disturbing.
The four pictures below show one unfortunate victim of dog hunting superstition. One particular town that raises these dogs believes that cutting the end of the dog's nose off will cause it to run faster.....
