Areas of Concern:
World Hotspots
As conditions for Greyhounds have improved in North Americal, the UK and Spain, they are deteriroating in these World Hotspots where there are abysmal conditions and few regulations to protect these beautiful and gentle dogs. Here, they are commoditized and subjected to horrific neglect and abuse. It is in these world hotspots that AEGA is working to bring attention, help and relief where it is most needed. |

Areas of Continuing Concern
Alhough great strides have been made over the years to improve Greyhound welfare in these countries, much work remains to be done. As pressure mounts and race tracks are closing, many Greyhounds need good homes.
